Year-Round English Language Programmes

Our English Language programmes for students of all ages run throughout the year, and students are placed into classes based on both their age and their level of English, which is assessed before arrival. We are particularly busy during the summer, when hundreds of students join us for short programmes of two weeks or more, to improve their language skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Throughout the year, alongside our short language courses, we also run full-time, long-term programmes. These courses are mainly for adults, although junior options are available if requested.

Students taking these courses typically join us for at least one term (12 teaching weeks), with many taking a full academic year of English Language study. Most students are preparing to take the IELTS exam, either for professional purposes, or to meet the requirements for entry to a UK university. Fees for these programmes are scaled based on the number of weeks taken, with prices starting from just £200/week. During low season (outside the summer), class sizes are small, with the average class size being 6 or 7 students.

Most students choose to take the Standard Programme, with 3 hours of lessons each day. Classes take place every morning from 09.15 – 12.30, Monday to Friday. The Intensive Programme has additional classes from 13.30 – 15.00 each day, and is a good option for students who need to make significant improvement in a short time.

For students joining long-term programmes of 1 term or more, a video interview and assessment will be conducted, in addition to the written placement test, to help with class placement. For full information about levels, including course descriptions, please click here.
