Summer Programmes

12 fantastic weeks from June – September 2026
OISC have been arranging summer programmes for international students in Oxford for the last 20 years. In that time, we have helped more than 30,000 students to develop their language skills, whilst creating unforgettable memories. Last year, we welcomed students of 32 different nationalities – and we are hoping for even more in 2026!

Summer in Oxford

Summer in Oxford is an awe-inspiring experience. The colleges, galleries and history of one of the world’s most famous Universities provide an inspiring and beautiful environment for students from all over the world. Our two teaching centres are right in the heart of Oxford’s famous and historic city centre, meaning that students are immersed in history and culture from the first day of their programme.

We welcome students of all ages, including juniors under 14 years, unlike many colleges, and adults of all ages. Students are placed into classes based on both age and level of English, with interactive and engaging classroom activites for Young and Very Young Learners. Academic English and IELTS-focused options for adults are also available.

Our summer programmes run from mid-June to mid-September every year, and enrolment is very flexible. Students can begin their programme on any Monday, and are welcome to join for any duration, from 1 week, to 8 weeks or longer as needed.

Students who wish to study with us outside this period are welcome to join us on one of our year-round programmes, either in English Language or in a range of academic subjects.

Social and Cultural Programme

Summer programmes should be fun, as well as academically enriching, and we want our students to enjoy all that Oxford has to offer. Every weekday we arrange cultural, sports and leisure activities, and these are included in the course packages above. A range of activities are offered, including punting on the river, visits to galleries and museums, the Colleges of the University with their beautiful architecture dating from medieval times, treasure hunts, selfie tours of Oxford… the list goes on!

At weekends we arrange full day excursions to destinations such as London, Bath & Stonehenge, and Cambridge.
