A successful end to the academic year for exam entrants

Published: 06 July 2026

During May and June 2026, our fantastic OISC year 11 and year 13  students completed their GCSE and A-Level examinations successfully during the summer examination series. The examination period ran smoothly, with excellent attendance and full compliance with awarding body regulations, and where appropriate all students were supported by their requisite access arrangements, enabling many students to take these vital public exams in their own familiar, private classrooms.

Staff provided an extensive programme of additional revision classes, intervention sessions and pastoral support prior to and throughout the examination period.

Based on internal assessments, coursework and mock examinations, OISC anticipates that students are well placed to achieve outcomes in line with expectations - although formal public examination results will not be released until August. A full analysis of examination outcomes, including attainment, progress, university destinations and subject performance, will be presented following the publication of results.

Students had a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their achievements with staff and parents at our End of Year Awards on 22nd May. We are hugely proud of their determination and efforts this year, and wish our leavers every success as they progress to university, and beyond.
